Plot with Stefan

Friends;; Stefan has just moved back to Mystic Falls and is the new student at the high school. So far he knows Elena by sight but does not know anyone else personally so he could use some friends.

Enemies;; After the best part of two hundred years wandering around the world, Stefan is bound to have made some enemies along the way. Whether they want to rip each other’s throats out the moment they see each other or just antagonise each other constantly, he needs them all.

Lovers;; Stefan has been in a couple of relationships since he became a vampire in 1864 but his last one was a long time ago. He isn't really in town looking for romance but if it presents itself he will be open to it.

I would love to get a thread going between these two, maybe having them meet for the first time or something. Were you planning to go the Stelena route with these two or no? I personally am a sucker for these two but either way I was hoping Stefan could be the person who introduces her to the world of Vampires and such?

Hunter is definitely someone who could be friends with Stefan. I'm sure, just his being would throw her off, but she'd ignore it once getting to know Stefan. She's a grade above him so they would have to run into each other in the halls or what not.

We definitely need to get something going for these two. I absolutely love Stelena so I'm up for going down that route if you are, I wasn't sure if you wanted that or if you had something else in mind. A first meeting would be great and I could definitely see him introducing her to the supernatural world. How should they meet - bump into each other at school but talk for longer than in the show, meet at the cemetery or shall we go for something completely different?

I could definitely see these two becoming friends. Stefan doesn't know about werewolves yet he has only heard rumours so the fact that she is untriggered is perfect. I agree that they could run into each other at school, maybe she could show him to one of his classes and they could get talking or something?

Awesome I am down for going the Stelena route. As for how they meet I think maybe it would be interesting to go a different route.
Right now Katherine and I are discussing possibly "torturing" Elena and than making her forget it all. Maybe Stefan could catch wind of what Katherine did but maybe not be sure that she compelled Elena so maybe they run into each other and Stefan kind of tests the waters?

Brother! It has been a while since we threaded these two. I think you're right, a confrontation wouldn't go too well at the moment considering they aren't in a good place. I actually kinda like the party idea, that way Stefan could try and convince him to keep a low profile this time rather than killing for no reason but the idea of them meeting at Elena's house would work too. Either way I like the idea of Stefan at least suspecting that Damon is in town.

Great! I haven't figured out with Rissy yet how and when Stefan is going to find out that Katherine is alive and back in town considering he thinks she and the rest of the vampires died so do you maybe want to have them meet before she encounters Katherine, then he can try and find out what happened after he finds out about Katherine? It might be a little less odd if they know each other before he has to covertly ask her but either way works!

*facepalms* Your 100% correct, for some reason I forgot that Katherine is "in the tomb." Well at least to the Salvatores. I am honestly up for anything with these two. Elena is trying to kind of stick to herself since her parents death and is getting sick of the "I'm sorry" from everyone. Maybe these two could bump into each other Elena could assume that is what he's going to say but he doesn't and she decides to keep talking to him since he is the first person in months to not treat her different.

That sounds good to me! Do you want to have them meet at school or should they perhaps meet somewhere around town and then she could either discover on his first day that he is the new kid people have been gossiping about or he could tell her that he is going to be starting there?

Maybe they could run into each other at the falls? Maybe Elena goes there to clear her mind and Stefan also goes there? I like the idea of him telling him, if thats the route we go I'm sure she would than offer to show him around the school which could than be a different thread?

That works for me, I think he would feel better being around so many humans in one place knowing that he had at least one friend already.

So Elena and Hunter are in fact going to be friends but I would love it if Stefan and Hunter meet on their own terms I guess. She could definitely help him out with finding his classes. When she triggers it, it'll get interesting though, with the whole need/instinct to kill vampires!
